Volunteers shave their heads to raise funds for cancer research

Thirty volunteers lost their locks for a good cause on Thursday.

They raised a total of $148,811 by having their heads shaved to support cancer research.

The volunteers were made up of employees from NetApp Singapore and BMC Software Singapore, together with their families.

Some were students of United World College of South East Asia's east campus.

Eleven-year-olds Colman Chadam and Sahil Joshi, whose parents work for NetApp, both went bald for charity.
